A hole-in-the-wall and a surprising find! The place looks unassuming from the outside, but the food and drinks were genuinely delicious. Drink ordered: Mango Lassi (8/10): Refreshing with a lovely mango flavor and just the right thickness--it wasn't too hard to drink through the straw, which I appreciated. Food ordered: Butter Naan (8/10): So good, but I do wish the portion was larger. My boyfriend and I each got one order and ended up inhaling it. It wasn't clearly listed on the menu, but they had it when we asked--same with the butter chicken. Butter Chicken with Rice (8/10): As a butter chicken fan, I was happy with this one. The flavor was rich and comforting, though I would've liked a bit more chicken. The rice was just okay--nothing special on its own--but it worked well once mixed with the sauce. Personally, I would've preferred more naan instead. There's minimal indoor seating--just a few bar stools by the window--but there is outdoor seating available, shared with nearby restaurants. Be aware that the outdoor area can feel a little sketchy at times due to the surrounding foot traffic, which took away from the atmosphere a bit, though that's not the business's fault. I personally preferred sitting inside, even with the limited space. The one who took our order was helpful and food came out quickly.

I noticed they had Pani Puri on their menu, so I stopped in to order this, along with a mango lassi drink. Pani Puri ($9.99) with small/medium mango lassi ($4). Pani Puri is one of my favorite Indian street food snacks and not every Indian restaurant has this. So I wanted to try and check it out here. The filling was diced potatoes, onions, cilantro and other spices - along with a tamarind vinaigrette water sauce. Even though the fried globes were not handmade, but came premade, the filling had a good amount of flavor and kick (hot spice) to it and it was a decent snack. While waiting for my order, I saw them roll out a fresh ball of dough to make the naan, so next time I am in the area I will try one of their curry dishes and get the made-to-order naan. Located in the Asian food court on Durant Ave, near the Telegraph Ave intersection around the UC Berkeley campus. Prices are reasonable with quick service. You can order at an electronic kiosk or at the counter. Inside seating is via 5 to 6 barstools at the window. Otherwise there's outdoor bench seating within the asian foodcourt.

For my first time eating Indian food - I was blown away tbh! I got the chicken tikka masala and it was soooo good! All my friends were raving about their food as well - great flavor and portion sizes! Plus the value is lowkey good/def worth it for Bay Area pricing; the chicken tikka masala with a side of naan came out to be ~$17

Oh my yum yum yum! So freaking delish, I came back twice in the span of two days. Tiki Masala burrito fufilled my dreams, and 14$ is good price for the SIZE of the food. Not sure what the rest of the reviews are yapping about, but I couldn't finish either the burrito OR regular tiki masala. Guy at counter was nice, quick, and packed my burrito nice and tight. Laughed at the memes on the wall, good touch (clean too). Only complaint: not enough chicken in my tiki masala :(, I ran out quick and only had the sauce and rice. Still so buss though. Will come back asap!

Fantastic chicken tikka masala. With basmati rice and cilantro garlic naan, this was the perfect lunch before a Cal basketball game. Tables just outside the restaurant on a sunny day. Wow! Couldn't get any better.

Food is amazing! The onion paratha was outstanding, the garlic cilantro naan was not far behind. Saag paneer was spicy but not over whelming. The courtyard for dinning the shared with all the other restaurants in the complex. Simple but clean.

Got the chicken biryani, veggie biryani, veggie samosa, cilantro garlic naan, gulabjamun, fresh sweet lassi, and the fresh aloo paratha. I loved all the food as it was flavorful, spiced evenly, and packed a punch with every bite, the samosas had a great crunch, though the naan and paratha were a bit on the burnt side. The sauces were good with the samosas and the naan and added a ton of flavor. My favorite was the biryanis as the rice and onions were so flavorful and tasty in themselves. I did not like the lassi as much due to personal preferences, but it was a great aspect to try out overall. Order on Snackpass for a discount! It's right in the gourmet ghetto!
